Peter von Nessi is President of the Normandy Group Inc., a real estate appraisal, brokerage and consulting firm. After starting his career at Merrill Lynch, Mr. von Nessi was soon afterward recruited as a stockbroker by Lehman Brothers. As an outgrowth of Mr. von Nessi's interests he then started the Normandy Group Inc., which was established for over twenty years ago in the securities markets.

He is a state certified appraisal instructor, teaching both residential and commercial appraisal certification courses and continuing education.

Over his analytical career, Mr. von Nessi has either evaluated or sold over 5,000 New York properties representing over $800,000,000 in value in all five (5) boroughs as well as Nassau and Suffolk counties. He also earned and was awarded the coveted CSA-G certified general designation from the Columbia Society, New York's oldest appraisal organization and remains an active member.
