Derek Hall has been a PropertyShark.com employee in multiple capacities since 2007. Starting out in customer service allowed Derek to achieve a full understanding of the capabilities of the PropertyShark web site, while also learning the ways in which various real estate professionals use the data available.

Dealing with brokers, investors, bankers, insurance agents, and appraisers on a daily basis was a very enlightening experience. Over the years, Derek has worked hand-in-hand with brokers and appraisers to develop new tools for the site. Working on those projects, coupled with his day-to-day experiences, gave Derek keener insights into the inner workings of the real estate industry.

Armed with a deeper understanding of the intricacies of the real estate industry, Derek joined the Sales team and began doing training presentations for PropertyShark subscribers. This position ultimately led to the creation of the PropertyShark 101 course for PropertyShark University.

Derek is uniquely qualified to teach PropertyShark 101 because of the depth of his knowledge pertaining to the site, its use, and the needs of the professionals who log on to PropertyShark.com each day.
